Group chats with AI characters
Some stories need more than two voices. SoulPal group chats let you bring characters you already know into the same conversation, where they can respond to you and to each other.
Choose characters you have chatted with
Start individual conversations with the characters you want to bring together. When you create a group, the iPhone app offers characters with an existing conversation. Choose two or three participants and optionally give the group a name. Blocked characters and story worlds are not offered as group members.
Set a scene everyone can enter
A shared setting gives the group something to react to. You might bring friends to a cafe, reunite a fictional band, or introduce two characters who see a problem differently. Write an opening that says where everyone is and what just happened, then let the conversation unfold through their different voices.
Keep a shared conversation going
Group replies arrive from the participating characters, giving the conversation several perspectives. You can address the group or respond to a particular character's line. Group chat works well when you want to explore how personalities interact; use an individual chat when you want to focus on your relationship with one character.
Where to use it
Create and use group chats in the SoulPal iPhone app. The web currently supports one-to-one character chats; group chat is not available there yet.
