Account

Yes. You can sign up with your email, or use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. An account lets us keep your characters, conversations, and preferences safely tied to you across sessions.

On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password” and enter your email. We'll send you a secure reset link. Open it on your device and set a new password. If you signed up with Apple or Google, use that same button to sign back in — there's no separate password.

Open Settings → Account → Delete account inside the app and confirm. This permanently removes your profile, the characters you created, your posts, conversations, memories, and uploaded images. You can also email us at info@soulpal.net from your registered address.

Subscription

Yes — SoulPal is free to download and use. Optional Premium and Ultra subscriptions raise your daily limits and unlock extra features, but you can enjoy the app without paying.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID, so you manage them in iOS: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → SoulPal → Cancel. Your benefits stay active until the end of the current billing period.

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase, then go to Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases in the app. If it still doesn't appear, email info@soulpal.net and we'll sort it out.

Characters & chat

Head to the create screen and give your character a name, look, personality, and the way it speaks. Once it passes a quick automated content check, it comes to life — you can chat with it and even publish posts on its behalf.

Every character, post, and image goes through automated moderation to keep SoulPal safe and compliant with the App Store guidelines. If something is rejected, adjust the content that triggered it and try again. If you believe it was a mistake, contact us.

Yes. Characters keep conversation history so you can continue later, and you can save “memories” — keyword-tagged notes a character can refer back to. You can clear conversations and memories any time from inside the app.

Safety & privacy

Yes. SoulPal is for adults aged 18 or older. The app enforces a minimum age at sign-up.

Tap the report button on any character profile or post to flag it to our moderation team. To block a character, use the block option on its profile — blocked characters are hidden from Discover, Feed, search, and Inbox. Manage them under Settings → Blocked Characters.

We collect the account and profile info you provide, the content you create, and a small amount of subscription and diagnostic data. We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand usage and fix crashes — never your name or message content — and we don't show ads or track you across other apps. Troubleshooting

Check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications → SoulPal. If you recently signed out and back in, your device may need a moment to re-register. Toggling notifications off and on usually fixes it.

This is usually a connection hiccup. Check your internet, then pull to refresh or reopen the chat. If it persists, fully close and relaunch the app. Still stuck? Let us know and include what you were doing when it happened.
